About 60 days—that's how long it took Joseph Smith to translate the book of Mormon. An incredible feat, considering it often takes years and multiple drafts to create a work of history comparable to the 531-page Book of Mormon.

But between April 7 and June 30 of 1829, Joseph Smith dictated every word of the Book of Mormon without any notes or revisions.
