Most members have heard Christ's parable of the good Samaritan.
A man on his way to Jericho is robbed, beaten, and left for dead. A priest and a Levite pass him by, but a third man, a Samaritan, helps him to safety and even pays for his stay at an inn until the man's wounds are healed (Luke 10:25-37).
It's an old parable that's been shared so many times, it's easy to recognize it when it's told.
But is this parable as easy to recognize in our everyday lives?
Mormon Channel recently shared a modern-day take on the good Samaritan parable that will make you wonder if you would be the good Samaritan, or if you would pass by someone in need. In addition, the context this video provides helps us develop more compassion for all of those involved—even those who passed by.
